Jo Russell

Jo Russell

Jo Russell started out in dentistry in 1986, qualifying at Liverpool Dental Hospital in 1988 and embarked on a career in the Royal Navy a couple of years later in the dental branch. It was in the RN that she gained experience in hospital operating theatres, restorative dentistry and oral surgery and in the training of new dental nurses. Upon promotion came the move into administration which involved the setting up and running of a new dental clinic.

The knowledge gained within the RN together with subsequent experience as an Area Manager equipped her for starting her own consultancy business, Oracle – Practice Business Solutions Ltd, writing and presenting Professional Development Workshops for Practice Managers and Dental Receptionists including the BTEC Diploma in Dental Practice Management. Jo is also currently an assessor for the BTEC Diploma for Dental Practice Managers for the Dental Resource Company. She has also just completed her Certificate in Education.

Jo has been with DNS for 7 years and in that time has been a full-time dental nurse and, following the arrival of her children, has remained loyal to the agency, seeing her swap her nursing position to that of part time administrator in charge of training and permanent placements.

Georgia Ingledew

Georgia Ingledew

Georgia Ingledew qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1994 in her native Devon where she worked for both private and NHS dentists. She moved to Gosport after meeting her husband.

Georgia continued working within the dental environment full-time until her daughter was born in 1997. Twin boys followed but she still managed to work part-time whilst looking after her ever growing family.

Georgia joined DNS in 2004, initially working school hours and term-time only. This was an ideal arrangement at the time but when her husband was off work unpaid for three months, DNS were lucky enough to be able to offer her full-time work. Seeing Georgia’s potential and her enviable ability to converse with people at all levels, DNS were indeed fortunate when she agreed to join the team in the capacity of receptionist/administrator.

Georgia is often the first point of contact when calling the office. Her primary roles are allocating assignments and issuing timesheets and invoices – that’s when the constant ringing of telephones allows it!!
